We accepted our itinerary of where we would have dinner on the 17th and 18th. The Common Man was our first stop and it should be called the "Un" Common Man -- out of this world. Our waitress was great. She was very knowledgeable and told us what was on the specials for the night. Our choice was the filet mignon which was out of this world! The desserts were phenomenal.

On Thursday we went forth to try our hand at skiing. Holly was set up with the proper rentals at Sugarbush and her instructor was very helpful and took the time necessary to make Holly feel comfortable since it was her second time on skis. While Holly got her feet under her, I went to check out Lincoln Peak. The snow was soft and forgiving and the weather was the best of the year.

Thursday night saw us at Terra Rossa restaurant. The menu was just as interesting as the night before. On Friday, we were off to see the sights of Vermont. We saw Ben & Jerry's and then it was off to the spectacular shops in Waterbury. From there, it was off to Stowe and the von Trapp Family Lodge.
From there it was off to Burlington, the Vermont Teddy Bear factory and then to the Shelburne Vineyards. We then went to the Burlington marketplace mall. Later on we went to dinner at the American Flatbread Company.

Sadly, on Saturday morning, it was time to shove off for home by way of Rutland and The Vermont Country Store in Weston, VT. Again, thank you to all who made this trip possible.
