The fabulous music is performed, live, by a brilliant ensemble of local
musicians who absolutely rocked the house. The set is sparse and
adaptable and perfect. This supports an incredibly versatile group of
singers and actors who are endowed with such amazing voices and
convincing delivery that I feel honored to live in this small community
knowing that we have this deep talent pool to draw from.
On more than one occasion, I was moved to reflect upon the condition of
humanity and its relationship to that thing called work that occupies
so much of our time. This play poignantly reflected upon many of the
sources of our pride and of our despair and gave rise to sympathy
towards those who in many situations are the faceless servants of our
conveniences. This is a perfect show for our times.
So, Bravo! I recommend that everyone take the pleasure of experiencing this play.
