The problem is that there is no safe way to get from the Common and all
the roads along Joslin Hill down into the village. Joslin Hill is
extremely narrow and steep with no shoulders. Cars fly up and down the
hill. There appears to be no way to widen the road to add a bike lane
since the road drops off steeply on both sides in the narrowest parts.
The answer is a path. If we had one, I know many, many, more people --
adults and kids -- would walk and bike up and down the hill into town,
myself included. This is a popular walk for tourists as well so it
would increase the tourist options and appeal.
This should be a high priority for the town.
