Across the state, town caucuses will meet on Saturday, March 22. In each caucus, delegates to the state convention will be elected by the participants, the numbers of delegates determined by the percentages of votes in that town for each of the major presidential candidates. These are the delegates who will attend the Vermont state caucus and choose Vermont's delegates to the national convention in Denver.
Caucuses are open in each town to voters who, in the primary on March 4, did not accept a ballot for a political party other than Democratic; in fact, if you didn't vote in the primary, you are still eligible to participate.
Please join your town's Democrats on March 22 -- it won't take long, and it will be fun.
The Caucus in Fayston will convene at the Fayston Town Hall at 10 a.m.; Waitsfield Democrats will caucus at the Waitsfield School library at 10 a.m.; Warren Democrats will meet at the Warren Town Hall at 4 p.m.
We hope to see you there. Please contact your town chair if you have any questions.
