To The Editor:
The Warren Halloween 2020 planning team would like to thank the many people and organizations who made our event a great success: The Warren Store and the families who donated candy for making sure everyone got treats; longtime Valley residents and recent transplants who jumped in with both feet to volunteer, including Harwood students and college students currently studying from home; Dinoman for creating an awesome treat chute with the help of Allen Lumber; the Warren Select Board for their encouragement; and the Warren Library board for their financial support. We could not have pulled this off without any one of these groups.
While we know families were disappointed that we couldn’t accommodate everyone who wanted to attend, our goal was to provide a safe Halloween event that fell within the requirements of the state of Vermont for outdoor events. It is our sincere hope that next Halloween we are back in the village without any limits on numbers of people gathering!
