I support Kari Dolan because she is dedicated to the environmental challenges our state faces every day. Her commitment to getting the job done and her focus on environmental issues, as well as helping our neighbors be able to live and work in the Mad River Valley, is what makes her the best candidate for state representative.
After Tropical Storm Irene devastated Vermont and the Mad River Valley, the erosion on the Mad River near the Big Eddy Bridge was a real problem. Kari Dolan organized the town of Waitsfield, the businesses and landowners to create a massive rock buffer along the riverbank. Kari got it done and now the town of Waitsfield is safer for it. I think Kari has what it takes to be an effective state representative to the community in and around the Mad River Valley
