To the Editor:
With elections coming soon, there's some important information to get out there.
There's so much that our Representative Maxine Grad has accomplished during her terms in office, that a complete listing would take up this whole page.
She's currently chair of the House Judiciary Committee, and public safety is important to her, such as texting while driving. She's done much work on laws to protect those whose lives are negatively affected by violence, abuse and neglect, several child protection laws, protection of victims' rights, public access to criminal records, domestic violence initiatives, and a justice system that works for everyone, not just those who can pay. One overall viewpoint is the economic benefits of safe communities.
I'll leave it there, but the scope of her work is fascinating to me. (Hopefully, I have this all correct.) She's a good one!
