To The Editor:
Did you know that early voting has begun in Vermont? You don’t have to wait until Tuesday, November 6, to vote. Even today you can call or go into your town office and request an early or absentee ballot. If you haven’t yet registered to vote, you can do that as well in your town office.
In this time of political chaos, some people get discouraged and feel disenfranchised. We are so privileged to live in a country where we are free to vote. Those who came before us fought hard so that we can participate in our government. In the November 6 election we will vote for candidates on the local, state and national level. I encourage you to read about candidates, ask questions and talk about the elections with your neighbors. Most importantly vote. It is a privilege and an obligation.
