To The Editor:
I am offering a letter of support for Maxine Grad, candidate for the House of Representatives. Maxine is one of our longest serving and most accomplished legislators. She is now chair of the Judiciary Committee.
Maxine has a tremendous work capacity. I sat next to her in the House for four years and noted that she took no down time. When there were a few minutes between House business affairs, she spent the time responding to requests from constituents. She is highly responsive to our needs.
Maxine introduced bills protecting the rights of student speech, of people with disabilities, the homeless, and service members. She and Adam Greshin introduced legislation to change our method of funding education. She is a protector of the environment and a champion of small businesses.
We need to send Maxine back to the House to continue her amazing work on our behalf!
