‘Proud’
To The Editor:
I have followed Lily Stilwell’s journey since her automobile accident last October. I have seen her ups and downs, her work at Spaulding Rehab in Boston, her hard work at Project Walk. Through it all she has kept a smile on her face, has no time for tears. Her grit and courage are an inspiration to young and old. The people of the Mad River Valley and surrounding areas have opened their hearts and pocketbooks to support her and “a room for Lily.” I am proud to call her my great-granddaughter, my Lily of The Valley. Thank you, everybody, for your support and your prayers.
