To The Editor:
On behalf of the Valley Arts Board of Directors, I extend a huge thank you to David Garten, who delivered the wonderfully informative and insightful program “9 from 9000: David Garten talks photos from Havana, Cuba, 2015” at our Festival Gallery last Saturday. David’s colorful, creative images and imaginative and often humorous commentary gave us a personal and unique view of Cuba and its people not usually seen. Thank you, David!
Also, thank you to Waitsfield United Church of Christ for lending chairs for the event. And thank you to the folks who came out on a rainy evening to participate in Valley Arts’ first of hopefully many monthly lectures.
