To The Editor:

As I finish my last couple of weeks as the librarian at Joslin Memorial Library, I am filled with gratitude for the last five years. It has been such a pleasure and honor to get to know the library patrons and to select books and develop programming that I hoped the community would enjoy. Working with the other staff and volunteers has been so rewarding. They are to a person kind, dedicated, funny, smart and compassionate.

I have always felt fortunate to work with the supportive library board and what a treat to work with the wonderful ladies who make up the joyful, creative and energetic Friends of the Joslin Library. Getting to collaborate with the other Mad River Valley libraries and librarians as well as other local organizations opened up lots of opportunities, was great fun and is a testament to the unique character of this community.

I've even enjoyed my trips to the post office and how social and informative that can be! I've also loved the times I've played music here and hope that is something that will continue to happen occasionally. So thanks, everyone! Come say hello at Kellogg-Hubbard Library if you're in Montpelier!
