To The Editor:
Vermont Police Association (VPA), a statewide group of over 800 police officers, has issued its 2014 endorsements for legislative candidates. VPA endorsements are based on past legislative service, for those who have been in the Legislature, as well as a survey recently sent to each candidate. The survey asks both general and specific questions of importance to the law enforcement community. Candidates were not endorsed if the survey wasn't returned. The local 2014 endorsements are as follows:
Senator Ann Cummings, Montpelier; Senator Bill Doyle, Montpelier; Patricia McDonald, Barre; and Representative Maxine Grad, Washington 7.
