Local lacrosse players had a busy weekend of lacrosse with each team playing two games on Saturday along with the big Lax Jamboree up in St. Albans where each team played three games.

Boys in grades five to six went 3 and 2 over the weekend (very shorthanded – only three subs available) with wins over Milton, Monkton and archrivals Stowe. The wins earned them a berth in the playoffs which begin with a game on Thursday against Milton.

The seventh- and eighth-grade boys’ team played their best lacrosse of the season this past weekend winning one over their crosstown nemesis Harwood, tying Burlington in addition to three losses.
