Waitsfield resident and Rice Memorial High School student athlete Sarah Boland has been named to the 2015 Girls’ Vermont All-State Soccer Team.
Boland is joined on the all-state team by four other members of her soccer team, Margot Rathke, Anna Schibli, Cate Beattie and Grace Miller. Boland was the team's leading scorer netting 14 goals this season and her composure in the box created several scoring opportunities for herself and others this fall. She plays a very aggressive game making defensive backs frustrated with her quick footwork and solid strike on the ball.
She was also recognized by the Lake Division coaches and selected to the Lake Division First Team for 2015.
