June Forsberg Carpenter, 81, of Warren passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter, Anne Whittle Stenhouse in Shapleigh, Maine, on November 15, 2013. Born in Boston, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of George E. Forsberg and his wife Violet. She leaves her daughter Annie and her spouse Colin Stenhouse, granddaughters Brittany Sherwood and Lauren Fisk and their spouses, a great-grandson Carter Scott Fisk and two stepchildren, Don Carpenter and Chris Tierney. June is preceded in death by her husband Henry Alden (Al) Carpenter, her sister Elizabeth (Betsy) Peterson and her stepson Henry Carpenter. June was the school secretary for Fayston Elementary School for many years. A memorial service will be held at Warren United Church on Saturday, November 23, at 2 p.m. with Reverend Susan McKnight officiating.
