Milo Omer Noel, 72, of Warren, passed away in the comfort of his home
and with his family on Friday, December 24, 2010. Milo was born on
March 3, 1938, in Allenton, Rhode Island. He was the son of the late
Everett and Gloria (Strange) Noel.
Milo spent the last few years of his life making beautiful crocheted
hats and studying the abundant bird life that visited his feeders. Milo
moved to Vermont in 1987, where he worked a variety of jobs including
carpentry and property management. Milo was exceptionally talented with
his hands. He played percussion with various groups for years and
passed on his love of music and rhythm to his family.
Milo is survived by his children, Melodie and her husband David Showacre
of Warren; William and his wife Caitrin Noel of Warren; Krista McCann
Helems; Margaret and her husband Mike Howell; and Angela and her husband
Geoff Lockett. Milo was blessed with 14 grandchildren. Milo is also
survived by his wife Peggyann Noel of Warren and his sister Helen Noel
Graham. He was predeceased by a son, Donny Noel, a sister, Shirley
Noel, and a brother David Noel.
