Jamie Lee Nelson, 29, of Noyes Road, Moretown, died at Fletcher Allen
Health Care in Burlington on Saturday, October 30, 2010. Born in Berlin
on March 31, 1981, he was the son of William E. Nelson and Debra
(Caron) O'Neill.
Jamie attended Harwood Union High School in Duxbury where he was a
member of the wrestling team. As a young man he worked on several area
farms including Camp Navajo for Joan Stark where he learned to enjoy
horseback riding. He also enjoyed snowmobiling and fishing.
He is survived by his father, William Nelson of Moretown; his mother,
Debra O'Neill of Barre; a half-brother, Shawn M. Wood of MA; his
maternal grandfather, Theodore Caron of East Barre; as well as extended
family. A brother, Brooks A. Nelson, predeceased him.
Services will be held from the Perkins-Parker Funeral Home in Waterbury
on Friday, November 5, 2010, at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in South
Duxbury Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts would be appreciated
