The community is invited to a "celebration of life" in memory of Burt
Bauchner on Thursday, April 8, at 7:30 p.m. at the Gate House Lodge at
Lincoln Peak, Sugarbush. Burt died on February 26, 2010, after a brief
battle with pancreatic cancer. Burt enjoyed riding his Honda Gold Wing,
teaching skiing at Sugarbush and participating in politics on the local,
county and state level. He was an avid reader and a member of two book
clubs. Please bring photos and stories to share. Dessert will be
