Daniel J. Jamieson, 32, of Rutland, Vermont, passed away on Friday,
September 4, 2009, at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Regional Medical Center
after a long illness. His family was at his bedside.
He was born January 15, 1977, in Central Vermont Hospital in Berlin,
VT, to David E. and Sue (Damon) Jamieson of Worcester, VT. He is
survived by his parents; his brother and sister-in-law, Jason (Jake)
and Kathleen Jamieson of Montpelier; as well as his maternal
grandparents, Col. Malcolm F. and Laura W. Damon of Roswell, NM. He
will be missed by them as well as by the staff of the care facility
where he lived, The Pines at Rutland.
A computer enthusiast, Dan enjoyed Web development, gaming and keeping
in touch with friends and family. His family would like to offer their
thanks to his caregivers and others who touched Dan's life, and those
whose lives he touched. He had a warrior's soul and the heart of a
healer.
A small, private ceremony will be held at the home of the family. There
