David E. Kingsbury, 57, of Moretown, passed away on Friday, July 24,
2009. Born in Montpelier on July 31, 1951, he was the son of the late
Donald R. and Norma (White) Kingsbury.
David was a 1969 graduate of Harwood Union High School in Duxbury. A
lifelong resident of Moretown, David served as a Lister and was a
member of the Moretown United Methodist Church. In his leisure time he
enjoyed spending time outdoors, beekeeping, fishing and hunting, bird
hunting with his dog, "Barney," and was a member of the Moretown
General Store coffee klatch.
David is survived by his siblings, Maureen Wiegner and her husband
William of Williston, Marcia Kingsbury of White River Junction and
Marvin Kingsbury of Moretown; two nephews, Mitchell Wiegner and his
wife Tricia of Normal, IL, and Steven Wiegner of Chicago, IL; his great
nephews, Mason and Jackson Wiegner of Normal, IL; as well as aunts,
cousins and friends.
Memorial services were held from the Moretown United Methodist Church
on Wednesday, July 29, at 1 p.m. with inurnment in Mountain View
Cemetery, Moretown. The family requests that flowers be omitted; rather
