Services were held Saturday, March 8, at 2 p.m. at the Warren United Church for Ruth Greenslit who died at home on March 2, 2008, surrounded by her loving family. The Rev. Nancy McHugh officiated and led the service. Organist was Virginia Roth. Bearers were Lester Miller Jr., Fred Pierce, Jim Ryan, David Greenslit, Riley Brown, Brandon Kennedy and Tom Tremblay.
Family and friends gathered after the service at the Warren Town Hall for a reception given by Warren United Church.
Entombment is in Hope Cemetery vault, Waterbury, pending burial in Warren Village Cemetery. The Perkins-Parker Funeral Home in Waterbury was in charge of arrangements.
