Christopher John Kinsella, 45, of Old County Road, Waitsfield, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his family and home on Sunday morning, July 22, 2007. Born in Fairfield, CT, on December 29, 1961, he was the son of William E. Kinsella and the late Marguerite (McKeon) Kinsella. On May 15, 1993, he married the former Robin M. Boyce in Waitsfield.

Chris was a 1979 graduate of Notre Dame High School in Fairfield, CT, and continued his education, first at Merrimack College, graduating in 1981 with a degree in computer science, and later graduating from the Computer Institute of Connecticut.

Chris worked in systems administration for several corporations that included Alcazar Records Inc., Sugarbush Resort, The Valley Reporter and New York Life Insurance Co. A 2005 graduate from Burlington College specializing in medical transcription, Chris worked from that year until his death for Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington in that vocation.

Chris was a member for over 20 years as an EMT for the Mad River Valley Ambulance Service where he also served as a CPR instructor, and was a member of Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church in Waitsfield. In his leisure time, he enjoyed playing classical piano and guitar.

Chris is survived by his wife, Robin Kinsella of Waitsfield; his father, William E. Kinsella of Fairfield, CT; his stepchildren, Doreen MacKenzie of Stratham, NH, Jeanne Mouser and her husband Shane of New Hampton, NH, and Josh Sherman and his wife Jessica of Moretown; three step-grandchildren, Abrianna MacKenzie, Joshua Mouser and Ella Sherman; his brother, Paul J. Kinsella and his companion Melinda Galvan of Shelton, CT; and a niece, Kristen Kinsella.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated from Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church in Waitsfield on Wednesday, July 25, at 11 a.m. Friends called at the Perkins-Parker Funeral Home in Waterbury on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. Interment will take place in Waitsfield Common Cemetery.
