Henry Elsinger, 90, passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at his home in Waitsfield, Vermont.

Henry (Hank) was born on August 25, 1932, to John and Barbara Elsinger in Trenton, New Jersey. After graduating from high school, he served in the U.S. Airforce as an Airman First Class and went on to study business administration at Rider College where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree.

He worked at Princeton Hospital and later New Jersey Hospital Association in the management engineering field before pursuing his MBA at Western New England College. Hank was the director of Physician Support Services at Baystate Medical Center and vice-president of product development for Baystate Diversified Health Services and a member of the American Hospital Association.

Hank was predeceased by his parents, John and Barbara Elsinger, his sisters Barbara Mayhew and Carol Elsinger and brother Billy Elsinger.

Hank is survived by his wife of 64 years, Mary Hutchinson Elsinger, and his three children, Catherine Lynn Elsinger, Kim Ann Fuller (husband Derek Fuller) and Eric Elsinger (wife Jennifer May Elsinger); Eight grandchildren: Austin Reed Rapisarda (37) (Ashlee Downer), Janson Ross Rapisarda (33) (wife Katelyn Batten), Seth Carl Fuller (30), Samuel Henry Fuller (28), Olivia Page Fuller (22), Jaden Hutchinson Elsinger (22), Carly May Elsinger (19), Luke Henry Elsinger (13) and two great-grandchildren Elliott Moss Flynn (12) and Redding Eira Rapisarda (2).

Hank was an avid runner and loved the Green Mountains and the Mad River Valley – he could often be found running through Waitsfield on Route 100. He loved his family and will be forever missed.
