The family of Elaine Altman reports her peaceful passing of Elaine Altman on Thursday, December 22, 2022.
Elaine Altman was the beloved wife of Ronald Altman and mother of Steven Altman (Lisa Schneider) and Leslie Weissman (Michael Weissman) and sister of Lenore Weiss and Nancy Herbst. Her family has strong ties to Shaaray Tefila. Her grandchildren Matthew (fiancé Jamie Sunkin), Justin, Joseph and Parker became Bar/Bat Mitzvah.
Graveside services were held at Sharon Gardens on Monday, December 26, at 11 a.m. at 273 Lakeview Avenue, Valhalla, NY 10595.
Shiva observance followed the service from 1 to 5 p.m. at the home of Steven and Lisa Altman in Bedford, NY, and Tuesday, December 27, from noon to 6 p.m. at the home of Ronald Altman.
