Edward J. Sinanian, born December 1, 1932, died on December 3, 2014. Ed grew up in Bridgeport, Connecticut, and attended Fairfield Prep and Fairfield University, majoring in physics, before receiving a full academic scholarship from Fordham University and graduating with a master's degree in mathematics.
Ed then went on to be at the forefront of computer technology working at IBM from 1957 through 1996, starting as a software engineer, then as technical support for several large companies and clients, as well as serving as technical liaison and speechwriter for IBM World Trade.
He loved to travel and was an avid skier. Ed spent most winters, and summers, after retirement with family and friends at his house in South Duxbury, VT. Ed loved Vermont, the people, the mountains, the snow. Ed was a beautiful and dedicated skier, frequenting the slopes of Mad River Glen and Sugarbush. He especially enjoyed being part of the Sugarbush Racing Club where he won a number of races.
Ed was a wonderful, brilliant, caring, charming, funny man, father and husband. He leaves behind two brothers, Jerry and Souren; several nephews; as well as wife, Donna; and daughter, Ruth. He is greatly missed.
