Scott C. Daley, age 52, of Fayston, Vermont, unexpectedly passed into the presence of the Lord on Saturday, November 22, 2014, as the result of a massive heart attack.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Susan MacLean Daley; their 20-year-old twins, daughter Kaitlin and son Kaile; his father, William Daley of Thayne, Wyoming; and his wife's parents, Kathy and Jim MacLean of Port Norris, New Jersey, and Jupiter, Florida.
Scott took enormous pride in his children's accomplishments: in the classroom, on the athletic field and on stage. They were truly his pride and his joy.
Scott was wonderfully gifted, having worked in hotel and other real estate development, in the management of many family business interests, as well as sales operations and financial planning. He was presently developing a dealer network in the U.S. on behalf of Tavannes, a prestigious Swiss watch manufacturer.
Scott served on the board of trustees for The Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry and the Boys and Girls Christian Home Ministries (in support of an orphanage in India), and worked on the board of directors for Young Life in Ocean City, New Jersey, for many years.
Scott had a deep and abiding love for his family, his friends ... the outdoors, all things with motors and friends of the K9 variety. He was a great man, well loved and will truly be missed by all.
Susi, Kaitlin and Kaile will be holding an open house in celebration of Scott's life at their home, from 1 to 6 p.m. on January 4, 2015. For directions please call (802) 496-6008.
In lieu of flowers, donations in honor of Scott can be made directly to the family or to the above mentioned Christian ministries.
