The Winter Farmers’ Market continues this Saturday, January 26, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Big Picture Theater & Cafe with local vendors featuring meats, cheeses, bread and baked goods, winter vegetables, maple products, canned and pickled goods along with herbal, fiber, other products and live music.
The Winter Farmers’ Market will continue on the last Saturday of the month through April.

Hailing from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Jacob Green prefers to keep things simple. No pedals or effects, just a stripped down roots style reminiscent of Ben Harper with Robert Johnson influences. Check him out at his first Big Picture Valley Night, Wednesday, January 30, at 7:30 p.m. Donations are encouraged.
Watch the Super Bowl on the big screen Sunday, February 3, at the Big Picture Theater & Cafe complete with a new digital Dolby 5.1 Surround Sound. Wings, beer and nachos specials will be offered and those who bring a group of five or more get a free large popcorn. Pre-game action starts at 5:30 and kickoff is at 6:30 p.m.
Art Reception
Join the Warren Library for a reception for local artist Megan Reinhold whose work will be displayed in the library for the month of February. Enjoy light refreshments and a discussion with the artist on Sunday, February 17, at 5 p.m. at the Warren Public Library.
Scrag Mountain Music open rehearsal
Get a unique perspective on the way chamber music is created by the performers and take part in this process on Tuesday, February 12, at 7 p.m. at Warren Public Library. Attendees can help make the decisions that will lead to the performance during Scrag Mountain Music’s open rehearsal. This free event is made possible by a grant from Vermont Community Foundation: Small and Inspiring Grants, and in association with the Warren Public and Joslin Memorial Libraries. Refreshments will be provided.
