The U.S. Ski Team has invited four GMVS boys to take part in a two-part Development Team tryout over the next two weeks. Warren residents Danny Duffy (number one in his age group in the nation in GS, number two in slalom and downhill, number four in SG), and Sandy Vietze (currently number two in his age group in slalom; top 10 in the other three disciplines), AJ Ginnis (number one in slalom, number five in GS), and Brian McLaughlin (number two in GS, number two in SG, number four in DH) will spend the next few days in Park City for physical testing, then head to Mt. Bachelor, Oregon, for the on-snow portion of the camp. GMVS coach Martin Guyer is with the boys as a member of the camp coaching staff.
