To The Editor:
I'd like to reiterate what Steve DeMenna wrote in "Extra revenue" (November 27, 2013) regarding tax bills. I, too, own a home in Sugarbush (Fayston) and never received a bill or delinquent notice, resulting in a $941 penalty. I agree with Steve's point that there should be a reminder before a huge fine is imposed. Furthermore, it's a shame when the town won't give you the benefit of the doubt, even with over a decade of history on your side.
