These are two very essential offices where those qualifications might be
expected as foremost. It can be said of Amy Deutl, who has served
Moretown well as town treasurer since 2008 and as assistant town clerk
and treasurer in 2007-08, that she not only has the financial background
for these jobs, she has already "been there, done that."
My wife and I are both relieved and happy that Amy is a candidate for
those two jobs in Moretown. There are many residents in Moretown looking
forward to voting for her on Town Meeting Day. And did we mention that
Amy promises to keep the town clerk's office running five days a week?
