Upon notice from the town about the termination request, MRPA contacted the Neills to discuss the issue. The Mad River Path Association has been working closely with the Neills regarding an open space agreement that might allow the townspeople a method of showing their appreciation for landowners who host the Mad River Path. MRPA continues to discuss this agreement with the Neills and the town.

There have been no recent incidents on the Greenway that have been brought to our attention. If a new license agreement is not signed with the Neills, the request for termination of the existing agreement will cause the greenway to close in 60 days, or mid-April.

MRPA continues to have positive dialogue with the Neills and is working hard to find a resolution that would keep the greenway open. We appreciate the continued support of the community. If you would like to express your appreciation for the landowners who make the Mad River Path possible, please contact MRPA at This email address is being protected from spambots.
