There is no charge to elders and their families for services provided directly or by contract, including case management, community and home delivered meals, health insurance counseling, transportation, family caregiver support, exercise program, volunteer opportunities, respite grants, information and assistance, options counseling, public benefits assistance and more. We sponsor both the Neighbor to Neighbor AmeriCorps and the Senior Companion Program.

Ten thousand baby boomers will turn 65 each day for the next 19 years in the USA and so we know that demand for our services will only increase. The vast majority of elders want to remain in their own homes, and many will need assistance and help to do so. The cost of an elder remaining at home with services is about half the cost of going to a nursing home. With Town Meeting Day almost upon us, CVCOA is asking for support from the 54 towns in our service area so that we can continue the invaluable programs and support for the seniors in our wonderful communities.

Please remember CVCOA on Town Meeting Day and vote yes to support your town's senior citizens.
