It is now in bloom, beautiful white/yellow elongated blossoms (sample
in Waitsfield Post Office) which will turn into thousands of paired red
berries which birds love, and their droppings plant these shrubs
everywhere.
Clip off blossoms or branches; flowers can even be pulled off and the
small shrubs can even be easily pulled up. Roots spread and grow in
shallow ground. Each of us can save thousands of them from spreading
along roadsides, in fields, on lawns, everywhere, and it's also
something meaningful for our kids to do.
Thanks (from our native species).
