Stop out-of-control spending. Vote no on the municipal system. The total price of this system is unknown and the guaranteed dollar increase in your property taxes is unknown. What is known is that we all will have to pay for it. The grant will not be sufficient.
Stop your town from stealing water and property. Vote no on the municipal system. The town did not ask permission or pay the property owner for the right to drill on this private property illegally taken.
We need to come together and help each other.... Please do the right and honorable thing. Remember, "Thou shall not steal," and vote no!

Editor's Note: The water source for the proposed municipal water system is a well drilled in the town-owned right of way off the Reed Road. To provide a wellhead protection zone around that well, the town took, by eminent domain, an easement on .44 and .45 of an acre of land from two adjoining property owners. Those property owners were paid $7,500 each for those easements.
