However, with the economic situation at present in The Valley and the country, it seems unreasonable that the Harwood school officials would ask for nearly two and a half million dollars for recreational improvements on the recreational fields at this time.
Taxpayers are barely getting by on what they live on now and the officials are asking for more taxes for this purpose.
Think before you vote on November 4 on this issue. Can you afford more taxes given that the economic situation could get a lot worse than it is presently?
