As you know, the Town of Waitsfield has selected a site for a permanent water supply to the lower village and its businesses. Your readers might be interested in knowing my perspective as this source is located on my personal property.
Can you imagine what it feels like to have a town proceed in the most aggressive, illegal fashion without permission or knowledge and drill a well on your land? This is what happened last year when the select board ordered a drilling rig onto my property without so much as a simple notice. They refused to grant me a hearing and are proceeding without my consent.
Please do not support these out-of-control illegal actions. Please vote "no."
