I want to pay special tribute to the members of the select board with whom I sat and conducted the affairs of the town for a number of years. Elwin, Charlie, Roy and Paul.... I have learned so much from all of you over the years. I am fortunate to have worked with such decent, honorable and hard-working men.
To all of the other municipal officials and staff, I hope you know how much your dedication to your jobs meant to me and how important it will continue to be for the entire town. Not every town is as fortunate as we are to have such a capable and responsible workforce.
Finally, I wish to extend a sincere thanks to the voters of Waitsfield who have allowed me a seat on the select board for the last seven years or so. Your support during this time has meant everything to me. In return, I hope you all know that during my time I was committed to performing the town's work in accordance with the highest standards of integrity.
