Carol has been involved with this legislation ever since last summer's Chicken Event. Carol spoke out against a proposed amendment that would have eliminated sales to restaurants from the bill. I was so impressed with Carol's knowledge of the current regulations in Vermont compared with those in other states. She gave a credible and compelling argument for changing the regulations as proposed by the Ag Committee without eliminating the language that allows sales to restaurants. It made me proud that Carol is our rep. Thank you Carol for supporting our local food system!
