I participated several years ago in mapping the streambed health of the Mad River Watershed and know of some areas in Warren which had serious erosion conditions. Maybe we could help with a stream bank erosion project closer to home. I think it might also be a good idea to begin a legislative request for the federal government to transfer at least 20 percent of the federal subsidies, which now go to oil and gas, into solar and wind power to make solar power, for example, affordable for low and middle income people. We could obtain signatures door to door without getting into a car and send it via email to some central place.
I'm open to ideas even if it is that all meeting in one place, Waitsfield, would be more effective.
