To The Editor:
As a former employee of CVMC at the Mad River Family practice, something to possibly consider as we face closure, which is a gut punch for so many of our Valley residents and patients, is that there was always a long wait list for people to become a patient. There are so many factors involved with providers leaving, new providers coming in, existing providers being booked out over a year. This is hard hitting news for all of us and I know it will impact us, here, and the Waterbury clinic, which is not a big open practice with extensive capacity to absorb the Mad River Valley patients for health care or physical therapy.
