To The Editor:
I'm endorsing John Burns for state representative. An Independent, he is free from the Democratic partyline lockstep that created our property tax crisis. A native Vermonter, he understands the catastrophic consequences of runaway taxes on ordinary people. A UVM grad with a master’s degree in Public Administration, he is eminently prepared for legislation’s complex challenges. Retired after 30 years of distinguished military service, he can be trusted to honor constituents’ needs over petty party politics.
