To The Editor:
I’ve had the good fortune to serve on the Waitsfield Select Board with Jordan Gonda for over a year, and enthusiastically encourage town voters to support her for another term.
Her experience as a skilled attorney has been invaluable to the board as we have dealt with several complex legal issues and will be exceptionally useful as we update several outdated policies and ordinances in the year ahead.
Jordan has volunteered as vice-chair of the planning commission and on the affordable housing coalition, and her experience starting a family and building a home in Waitsfield grounds her in the challenges facing local residents during these challenging times.
Most important, she conducts herself with calm civility, is rational and open minded, listens to others and balances meeting the town’s needs with a high level of fiscal responsibility. Jordan has more than earned another term on the board.
