I support Fred Messer for the Waitsfield Select Board.
Here's how to vote for him:
1) Find the correct election, three-year term for select board-against Paul Hartshorn.
2) Legibly write his name, “Fred Messer.”
3) Check the box.
Your vote will not count if you do not do these three things. Be sure to get your ballot back in the mail in plenty of time.
I couldn't believe it when Paul equated a potential mask mandate with communism this summer. I hope he has changed his mind in the context of this widespread COVID threat. Research by the Centers for Disease Control says mask-wearing can reduce transmission of the virus by more than 96%. If that’s communism, so are cancer therapies, food safety regs and inspection, stop signs and speed limits, laws requiring people to wear clothes in public, septic tanks and building codes.
