To The Editor:
Some reasons I am voting for David Zuckerman for governor of Vermont:
Climate: David Zuckerman will address our climate crisis, through renewable energy and weatherization projects and adding alternative energy jobs.
Affordability: Current minimum wage is $10.78 and we have a lack of affordable housing. David Zuckerman will work to change this.
Higher education: In 2020, we came very close to losing Northern VT University Johnson and Lyndonville campuses and Vermont Technical College in Randolph. David Zuckerman will help our colleges thrive.
Health: Governor Scott has handled COVID 19 well, particularly through following the advice of Vermont Health Commissioner Dr. Mark Levine. David Zuckerman has pledged to retain Dr. Levine. There is more to Vermonters’ health in the future beyond the pandemic. David Zuckerman will focus on health care coverage for every Vermonter.
