To The Editor:
Do we want someone in the governor’s office who welcomes people
to his office to discuss issues that are important, like the environment and education? David Zuckerman does, as his track record proves. Our current governor does not. He refuses to work with legislative leaders and activists. He’s done little to promote use of renewable energy or help create jobs. He says the right things but then backs away.
Our economy needs a workforce with technology skills to meet the needs of a growing Vermont economy. These skills are needed for the new world of expanding renewable energy and health care fields. This is the time to support our state colleges, not cut back their funding. Support of our state colleges is critical. David Zuckerman supports early childhood education through college to meet these needs.
Please join me in voting for David Zuckerman to be our next governor!
