To The Editor:
It’s important to express appreciation for the good work Vermonters are doing on COVID. Vermonters are the real heroes here, wearing masks and social distancing. Thank you, neighbors!
Vermont has other issues to tackle, too. Working Vermonters are struggling. I will vote for David Zuckerman for governor because he stands behind a livable wage and paid family leave. If these bills had not been vetoed by our current governor, Vermonters would have fared better during the pandemic.
The climate crisis can't wait! Scott vetoed the Global Warming Solutions Act. Yikes. Vermonters need David Zuckerman, a champion for working Vermonters, the future of our kids and our planet. Our futures depend on you voting on the issues. COVID will eventually go away but we need action now, not vetoes.
