To The Editor:
When Rosemarie White, a Warren school board representative, removed Russ Bennett signs from the Waitsfield school grounds I would say she was making a political statement. This is the antithesis of what Kaiya Korb, Waitsfield principal, claims as her reason for not allowing signs. By empowering individuals or groups to act out against a particular candidate this so-called apolitical setting is no longer. Is this pile of signs a good example to the students of what First Amendment rights look like? I would urge residents of Warren to contact this school board rep to say her time could have been more constructively and impartially spent by being at the Warren School for the Town Meeting.
