To The Editor:
The little girl in the March 5 issue of The Valley Reporter in the photo of Sigi Grottendorfer (bib No. 21) is my daughter, Duval Slingluff, who was “racing” for the Valley Day School. We were living in Waitsfield year-round at the time and Duval and her family own a ski house and land there to this day. I had a copy of the photo made from the original in the Valley House and it hangs in her house. That photo certainly has a long life!
