To The Editor:
I write in support of Christine Sullivan for reelection as a Waitsfield school board trustee.
As a now-retired 15-year veteran of the Waitsfield and HUUSD school boards, I have always found Christine to be smart, courageous, data-driven, dispassionate and deeply committed to the often-challenging and contentious process of school board work. The mother of four children in our schools, Christine takes her HUUSD “trusteeship” responsibilities seriously, thinking and planning not just for our own town and school but for the needs and opportunities of our K-12 district as a whole.
Her wisdom, tenacity and institutional memory are vital at this critical time for our HUUSD as a whole.
Please join me in casting your vote for Christine on election day.
